Schonenberg Retirement Village Health Care Centre houses 27 rooms to look after those requiring extra assistance in their daily routines. The Centre is on two storeys with the ground level housing the frail care section (14 rooms) and the first floor, accessed via a lift or stairs, accommodating 13 rooms of assisted living units.

The Frail Care residents are monitored on a 24/7 basis with services including assistance with walking, showering and all daily functions. Three meals are included and the facility is managed by qualified nursing staff and experienced care givers. The rooms and services are charged out as a combined monthly fee which includes all lights and water, maintenance, cleaning and clothes washing.

The assisted living units are for those residents who need a little extra care but are capable of living independently. The units are bedsit units with a combined bedroom, lounge and kitchenette area and an ensuite full bathroom. The units come with a fridge, stove and microwave. Residents bring their own furniture. The services provided monthly are a minimum of one meal per day (can have three), two visits per day by carers or sisters, washing included, cleaning of units included, and residents have full access to the Village clubhouse and all its amenities which is in easy access through a single door. Units are sold on a life right basis, and there is a monthly charge for the services provided.
