Assisted living unit now available

All Assisted Living units are located on the first floor of the Health Care Centre. They are accessible via a lift or stairs. The units are single-roomed containing a lounge area, bedroom and kitchen area. A separate bathroom consisting of a basin, shower, and toilet is provided for each unit. The units are supplied with a three-plate stove and oven, fridge and microwave oven, together with an intercom telephone which is connected to all other units in the village, as well as the security and management of the Health Care Centre. A monthly service fee is payable to support the services offered which include daily support, a meal per day (can have all three provided), electricity and water, the unit cleaned twice per week, washing done and all maintenance required. Residents enjoy all the amenities the clubhouse offers which adjoins the centre.

Each resident is supplied with a “panic button” which is connected to the nurses’ station which is manned 24 hours a day.
